Kändler, in a grey hat with a red ribbon, turquoise jacket, purple waistcoat and black breeches with an open map in his right hand, an oval box under his left arm and a mottled brown rectangular box and a black bundle on his back, standing before a tree-stump on a mound base applied with flowers and leaves (fingers of his left hand lacking, lower part of map replaced, crack to his right thumb, minor chip to hat, chips to flowers and foliage), blue crossed swords mark to underside of base, circa 1748
