A MEISSEN PEWTER-MOUNTED CYLINDRICAL TANKARD moulded and gilt with three crowned escutcheons with the AR monogram on pink and blue grounds, the rim and footrim with gilt and black foliage-scrolls and diaper-panels, the pewter cover engraved with a Coat-of-Arms below the initials G.A.K. and above the date MDCCXXXIII (slightly extended firing crack to top of handle at join, slight rubbing to gilding), the porcelain perhaps circa 1730, the decoration 19th century
