AN ITALO-CORINTHIAN 'RING' ARYBALLOS, with strap handle, one side of the main body decorated with a frieze of animals comprising a swan with outstretched wings, two grazing deer, a tusked boar and a panther, the other side with a similar frieze, the swan shown in profile to the left, the field filled with rosettes, details incised and with traces of added purple, bordered by a frieze of 'S'-shaped motifs and another of chevrons, circa 600 B.C.
