A LURISTAN BRONZE MACE-HEAD, the short cylindrical tube with three rows of pyramidal spikes, encircling ribbing above and below, 5¼in. (13.4cm.) high; another with longer tube, the upper part of the shaft divided into six vertical panels decorated with alternating bosses and cable pattern, 7 7/8in. (20cm.) high; a bronze axe-head, the cylindrical shaft hole with four connected conical projections, the curving blade with an almost straight cutting edge, 8in. (20.4cm.) long; and a bronze pick-axe with shaft hole with three butt-spikes, 7in. (17.8cm.) long, late 2nd/early 1st millennium B.C. (4)
