Joel Brodsky's photograph was used for the back cover of the Doors' first album - he subsequently took the photographs that appeared on the front covers of the albums Strange Days, 1967 and Soft Parade, 1969. However the most famous shots remain those from this first session, which also appear on the interior gatefold sleeve of the compilation album Weird Scenes Inside The Goldmine, 1972, and perhaps the most famous shot of all, Morrison with his arms outstretched, which was used for the cover of the 1985 compilation The Best Of The Doors.
