A rare Swedish promotional concert poster The Beatles, Kungl. Tennishallen, Stockholm, Saturday, 26th October, 1963, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint pen John Lennon xxx, George Harrison xxx, Ringo Starr and love Paul McCartney xxx, annotated by the fan who obtained the signatures with heart motifs, additionally signed in an unknown hand -- 39½x27½in. (100.3x69.8cm.) framed; and two corresponding ticket stubs, one for the five o'clock and one for the eight o'clock performance, each -- 3x5in. (7.6x12.7cm.) framed

Lot Essay

The vendor obtained these signatures between the two shows on this date when she was taken backstage to meet the group by a newspaper reporter. She was a self-confessed Paul McCartney fan, hence the heart motifs drawn around Paul's head on the poster.
