Lot Essay

The vendor was working as a flight attendant for Qantas and crewed the Beatles' flight from Sydney to London at the end of their first Australian Tour. The flight left Sydney on 1 July, 1964.

The vendor recalls ...Ringo Starr asked me if there was anything "normal" to eat...I produced egg and bacon rolls with tomato sauce for all of them. They sat on the floor outside the galley while I made them up. The rolls hit the spot and in appreciation Ringo made them all sign the postcard of the 707 Aircraft & gave it to me. The brown stains are grease off their fingers...
