cover 1892 (31 May) and (14 June) envelopes from the "Sitwell" correspondence to England, bearing 1887 6d. tied by "MACLOUSTI" c.d.s. with a second strike alongside; one adhesive defective, otherwise fine. Also some letters and 1892 diary of Capt. William Sitwell which contains interesting notes of the year, including 4th February "Rode to Umvotcha with Colenbrander before breakfast, satisfactory interview with king who gave us beef and beer."
