FIRST EDITION of Congreve's last and greatest comedy. Millamant, niece of Lady Wishfort, is regarded as "his most brilliant creation," while other memorable characters include Lady Wishfort's country nephew, Sir Wilful Witwoud, and the servants, Foible and Waitwell.
