(Type A2) and showing two strikes of boxed "POST OFFICE/COOK ISLANDS" d.s. and "BRITISH RESIDENCY" cachet (Type AF6), all in violet and, on reverse, Auckland transit c.d.s. for 9 September; the envelope with some light creases and soiling, the adhesive with some minor foxing around perfs.
