Note: The accompanying certificate attests that the above stamp was one of ten copies with mixed thick and thin bars originally affixed on a letter from W.H. Porter, Treasurer of Dominica, to A. Churchill (Emerson), Secc. of the expert committee of the R.P.S. It is reported that it was originally sold by W.H. Peckitt, a London dealer to H.P. Manus where it was affixed to the original piece fixed on the original piece from which it has subsequently been removed.
