STEVE DITKO By issue number 21 of the Amazing Spider-Man, Ditko switched to the brush for inking his work. The results were the more muscular character we are familiar with today. The artwork on issue no.21, featuring the Beetle and the Human Torch, is considered a zenith of Ditko's brush inking, complete with sensational fight scenes.
