cover 1853 (Dec.) entire from Hobart addressed locally, bearing 1853 (Nov.) 1d. blue (lines clear and sharp) on medium soft yellowish paper, three large margins, touched at top, neatly cancelled "61" and showing fine "PAID/4.O.CLOCK" framed d.s. in red below (partially crossed by small tear); the adhesive with some slight staining, nevertheless a rare local letter.
