AN ENGLISH TAPESTRY FRAGMENT, depicting Autumn from the series of the seasons, after the designs by Pierre Mignard, en suite with the preceeding lot, woven in wools and silks, of the drunken Silenus carried by two satyrs in a Bacchanalian procession with two putti drinking wine pouring out of a barrel, within a wooded landscape with seascape beyond, in a later blue slip, patching and minor re-weaving, reduced in size, probably Mortlake or Soho, late 17th Century
