With tapering turn-off sighted barrel, signed enclosed action with under-hammer numbered '38', and folding trigger, painted throughout in imitation of wood (paint chipped), complete with brass ferrule, and attachable finely figured walnut butt with chequered grip, scroll engraved blued iron mounts, and silver escutcheon
