With belled two-stage iron barrel (some surface pitting) signed 'Twigg London' in capital letters on the top flat, plain shaped tang, rounded lock with safety-catch and first form of signature, figured walnut full stock with a tear-drop behind the barrel tang (small chip, minor bruising), shaped brass mounts including trigger-guard with second pattern acorn finial, and later brass-capped ramrod, Tower private proof marks
