A Highly Unusual 26-Bore Irish D.B. Flintlock Box-Lock Coaching Carbine

With rebrowned twist octagonal barrels with silver bead fore-sight, signed on the rib in Gothic script, and fitted with spring bayonet beneath, signed engraved action, the top plate with long tang engraved with flowers, foliage, and bird perched up a tree, integral rectangular pans each with raised border engaging with a panel on the underside of the pan-cover, engraved thumbpiece safety-catches, figured walnut butt (minor bruising), chequered grip, engraved iron mounts, and brass-tipped ramrod (some areas of rust staining and surface pitting)
