A Very Rare 21-Bore Two-Shot Superimposed-Load Flintlock Sporting Gun

With earlier Turkish swamped twist barrel in four stages with three mouldings, shaped muzzle, and slotted fore- and back-sight, the octagonal breech with Irish registration number 'CB-802', engraved tang, signed border engraved rounded lock, the plate engraved with a bird, a dog, foliage, and the owner's initials 'IN', the pan with horizontal shutter and priming channel with hinged cover for the front touch-hole, moulded figured full stock (minor bruises, small section of fore-end replaced) with a raised panel at the barrel tang and curved butt of Scottish flavour, brass butt-plate engraved with old armoury number '52', iron trigger-guard with owner's initials 'IN' within a flower-head, engraved brass side-plate, three baluster brass ramrod-pipes, and later brass-capped ramrod
