A Rare 19-Bore Spanish D.B. Miquelet-Lock Sporting Gun

With browned barrels without under-rib (some minor surface pitting) decorated with silvered foliated scrollwork around the silver fore-sight, and with silvered flowers, scrollwork and foliage on the breeches and the inscription 'En Eibar Año D 1818', each breech with gold-lined punzón of Francisco Echeberia (Echeverria) of Eibar, and at the rear a silver-inlaid decorative band, gold-lined touch-holes, signed flat border engraved locks each with engraved details on a punched and gilt ground and gold-lined pan, moulded figured walnut half-stock (small chip in front of the left lock) carved in relief at the barrel tang and rear ramrod-pipe, chequered grip and fore-end, fluted butt with leather-covered cheek-pad, engraved chiselled iron mounts including trigger-guard with gold-lined punzón of Alberdi of Eibar, iron sling swivels, and brass-tipped bone ramrod
