With swamped octagonal barrels each with silver fore-sight, silver ring back-sight with acorn finials, and silver-lined maker's stamp, a crowned castle, plain tangs, shaped flat bevelled locks chiselled and engraved with scrollwork and inscribed 'San Angelo', pierced cocks, shaped steels, and blued pans and cock retaining screws, moulded figured walnut half-stocks finely carved in relief with strapwork and foliage, lightly engraved faceted iron mounts, sling swivels, horn fore-end caps, and original horn-tipped ramrods, in very fine almost unused condition throughout
