A Rare Cased Pair Of 100-Bore Irish All-Steel Percussion Box-Lock Pocket Pistols
By W. & J. Rigby, 24 Suffolk Street, Dublin, circa 1835
With turn-off barrels, each with Waterford Borough registration number and numbered respectively '1' and '2', signed one-piece actions and butts decorated with characteristic engraving, the top of the actions with a slotted back-sight, three bents, and folding triggers, the pommels each pierced to form a barrel key: in original lined and fitted mahogany case (minor defects, lining damaged and partly replaced) with accessories including three-way flask, the lid with trade label (stained)
