A fine 23-Bore Single-Trigger Over-And-Under Flintlock Pistol

With browned twist hair-rifled octagonal barrels, the top barrel signed in gold and with gold line at the rear and silver fore-sight, platinum-lined touch-holes, finely engraved case-hardened tang incorporating the back-sight, signed border engraved case-hardened locks (one retaining lug broken) each with roller, semi-rainproof pan, blued steel-spring and safety-catch, and engraved 'French' cock, the top jaws numbered respectively '1' and '2', flattened chequered figured walnut butt, finely engraved serial numbered blued iron trigger-guard, horn-tipped ramrod, and nearly all its original finish
