Tapering flattened rectangular étui of rectangular section with rounded corners, hinged slightly domed cover, of green shagreen with corded gold mounts, obverse and reverse of the base applied with scrolling pierced and embossed gold motifs depicting playful putti as allegories of Architecture and Geometry, both sides of the cover applied with engraved and pierced gold cartouches depicting flower vases and foliage one engraved with inscription ARCHITEC TURA, the other with GEOMETRIA PERSPEC TIVA, the tip of the lid applied with a gold cartouche chased with emblems of Geometry, the base with pierced scrolling gold mount
