maker 'LFT', marked, Geneva, circa 1780/1800, with prestige marks including a pseudo-charge mark of Julien Alaterre, a pseudo-discharge mark of Julien Berthe and a pseudo date-letter 'K'
Circular box, the independent cover and base engine-turned with concentric circles emanating from a translucent green foliate central rosette on a radiating engraved gold ground surrounded by fluted, white dotted, lavender-blue and white concentric rings, the sides engine-turned with horizontal reeding, the outer opaque lavender-blue enamelled borders decorated with a white dotted taille d'épargne gold ribbon-twist motif and interspersed with matted gold cartouches applied with translucent green enamelled leaves tied with translucent red enamelled crossed ribbons
