A gold and enamelled vinaigrette
Probably Swiss, circa 1840, with French import mark
Octagonal, with rounded base and cover, the cover, base and six panels chased with gold floral sprays and garlands on a blue guilloché enamelled ground, the two front panels each enamelled with a coat-of-arms surmounted by a crown, with push-pin opening, foliate scroll grille, and suspension ring, marked on side and grille bezel
1 in. (26 mm.) high without ring
The arms are those of Spain with coronet above and a second coat-of-arms with crown above.
