Possibly German, circa 1850, with indistinct mark
Formed as a swivel seal, rectangular with canted corners, one side engraved with a coat-of-arms with crest and foliate mantling, the other side with foliate scrolls, opening to reveal a vinaigrette with detachable grille engraved and pierced with roses, held between two foliate and beaded arms, suspended from a reeded loop, marked on grille bezel
