Geneva, circa 1815, marks rubbed
Oval, the cover enamelled with a finely detailed plaque of rose, camellia, tulip, forget-me-not, pear, apples and grapes, with a pearl border, the slightly upcurved base chased with a pattern of overlapping peacock feathers, the sides bright-cut with star motifs, with plain thumbpiece, the grille a pattern of pierced overlapping peacock feathers
