An early 20th-Century German film and slide projector,
a metal plate on the lamp housing for GBN BAVARIA, stamped beneath GERMANY, in japanned-steel with brass fittings, the lamp housing with chimney and blue glass windows (burner missing), the 1 5/8-inch (4.1cm.) diameter condensing lens at the front with slide holder, the sprocket mechanism driven by crank handle to the lower spindle and a chain to the upper, with fan-shaped shutter, framing adjustment, the brass-mounted front lens with rack and pinion focusing, with two tin reels -- 10in (25.4cm.) wide
