A Riesengebirge gilt facetted friendship goblet and cover
Circa 1750
(Deckelpokal) the funnel bowl engraved in Matt und Blankschnitt with David and Jonathan embracing upon a scrolled cartouche flanked by vegetation, the reverse with a long inscription in German, the edge gilt, upon a baluster stem, the conical foot engraved with triangles, the cover en suite with balustroid finial (crack to the lower part of the bowl)
