A Dutch-engraved triple-knopped light-baluster armorial goblet
1740-1750, the glass England or the Netherlands
The funnel bowl engraved with the crowned coat of arms of Stadholder prince William IV (1711-1751) encircled by the Garter, inscribed honi soit qui mal y pense above a tied wreath, the reverse with seven tied arrows, the triple-knopped stem with elongated balustroid lower section enclosing a tear, on conical foot
