The heavily gilt body painted in colours and elaborately modelled in the first rococo revival florid style, decorated with two frontal cartouches depicting gallant couples, the reverse with flower bouquets, the handles modelled as winged martial maidens, on fixed bases, one inscribed D.C.H. above A. 1847, the other Uw behoud onze vreugde (damages)
