(Eichelhäher) after a model by Johann Joachim Kaendler (1735), painted in colours and naturalistically modelled as a large bird of prey with elaborate plumage in shades of grey and yellow, perched on a high treetrunk applied with a birdnest on a trailing branch, further with patches of moss and various insects (tail kept apart)
