A Meissen figure of a Polish nobleman
19th century, marked with underglaze blue crossed swords, Pressnummer 2670 and 44 in overglaze red
After a model by Johann Joachim Kaendler, gilt and painted in colours, modelled as a standing man with short dark hair and a moustache, wearing a yellow cloak outlined in fur with long open sleeves, a dark blue garment and red boots, holding a yellow cap outlined in fur in his right hand, on circular rocaille base (one finger restored)
