A Meissen candlestick group emblematic of Autumn
Circa 1760, marked with small blue crossed swords to the back
Gilt and painted in colours, modelled by Johann Joachim Kaendler as a standing youngster and a seated child, their heads adorned with grapes, holding a bunch of grapes, beside a tree covered in gilt-enriched rocaille scrolls and vine branches with grapes, terminating in a candle nozzle, the bobêche as stiff leaves, on rocaille base (minor small chips and restorations)
