A Meissen bacchic figure group
Circa 1770, marked with underglaze blue crossed swords
Gilt and painted in colours, modelled as a seated classical maiden wearing a yellow drapery enhanced with Indianische Blumen, flanked by a large fruit-filled basket and a bacchic putto seated backwards astride a goat, on shaped rocaille base (one horn of goat missing)
