Late 19th century, spurious blue interlaced L's marks, signed Bertain
Each with domed cover and pinecone finial, the waisted neck gilt with trophies, finely painted with a scene of Jardiner Gallant or Messager, named below, within an elaborate gilt cartouche flanked by upright eared foliate-cast tapering handles, the reverse a country house and ruins by a river, on conforming socle and shaped-circular base
