TWO ONYX-MOUNTED VIENNA STYLE COBALT-BLUE GROUND PEDESTALS
Late 19th century, blue beehive marks
Each with square top above a combined Ionic and Corinthian capital, the cylindrical column in two sections painted top and bottom with a continuous scene of either Eastern beauties in gardens or with Sirens luring sailors, between bands elaborately gilt with arabesques, the lower section moulded with berried laurel wreath, on a stepped square base
