The arched superstructure centred by a ribbon-tied floral spray above an enamelled clock dial, over four drawers, the lower section with an inset leather writing surface, above three frieze drawers, on square tapering floral-festooned legs and laurel-cast feet, the reverse of the locks stamped V.F./PARIS
