The ormolu-banded rectangular noir de mazy marble top inlaid with a rouge antique border with squares of lapis at the corners, the centre with fleur-de-lys flanking an etched brass and marble-inlaid roundel centred by a pair of rock-crystal dolphins beneath a fleur-de-lys, supported on cast-iron lion monopodiae and a similarly bordered black marble plinth
