The reference collection of forgeries and fakes, consisting of 1840 1d. blacks (20) and 2d. blues (11) and 1841 1d. and 2d.; of the 1d., eleven are of unused appearance, having been cleaned and regummed (eight with Certificates so stating) and of the 2d., five are of unused appearance, having been cleaned (four, including a pair, with certificate so stating), and most of the used are repaired; the 1841 1d. has been provided with a forged Alderney Maltese Cross; an interesting array, some fifteen items with a total of twenty-four Certificates.
