Details
JOHANNES HEYNLIN DE LAPIDE (ca. 1428/31-1496). Resolutorium dubiorum circa celebrationem missarum occurrentium. [Paris: Pierre Poulhac] for Denis Roce, [ca. 1495].
Chancery 8° (131x91mm). Collation: a-f8 (a1 title, a2r summary, b1r chapter 1, f8v Roce's device (Polain Marques, 161). 48 leaves. 27 lines and headline. Type: 1:110(104)G (title and headline), 2:64G (text). One 2-line initial space. (A few margins slightly darkened.) Modern pastepaper boards.
One of only a handful of books printed by Poulhac, always for the publisher Denis Roce. CIBN has dated this tract to 1493 on the basis of Roce's device, but BMC argues for reassigning the one Poulhac book dated 1493 to 1495, thus making the only known dates associated with the press 1494-95 (see BMC VIII, xxxix). C 9493; Goff J-365; Pellechet 5954; Madsen 4359; CIBN H-80
