Title, foliation, rubrics and initials printed in red, full-page woodcut of the Ascension of the Virgin on verso of title, title within historiated woodcut border, every page within full, three-quarter or half border, many historiated. (Title detached and re-inserted on stub, repair in inner margin of a6, lower blank margin of a2 repaired, small hole in c6 affecting letters, foliation on a few leaves cropped, minor staining.) 16th-century limp vellum (new end-papers). Provenance: old German library duplicate sold stamp on verso of last leaf.
