(Repaired tears to a number of leaves, marginal in the main but affecting text or illustration of title, d4, e6, f2, g6, i3, l1 and n3, some soiling.) Old vellum (later endpapers, ties defective). Provenance: 'Doctor Sixtus' (early signature on title and copious notes).
