Engraved title, two hand-coloured engraved tables of geographical description, 106 hand-coloured double-page engraved maps, plans and nautical views, 3pp manuscript index of maps and 6pp of manuscript annotations and descriptive text. (Occasional minor spotting or soiling to margins, map of Europe with a short clean clean tear at centre fold, 10 other maps with short tears at lower centre folds, a few affecting maps.) Contemporary calf, spine gilt in seven sections, morocco lettering-piece (lightly rubbed). Provenance: Count Franciscus Wencesslaus de Trauttmansdorff (contemporary inscription on verso of title).
