(Short clean tear to folding map of Battle of Alexandria, one plate just trimmed at upper margin, a few text leaves lightly browned.) Contemporary tree calf gilt, covers with elaborate border constructed of rules, various roll-tools and an outer stained area, spine in six compartments, lettering-piece in one, the double raised bands onlaid with strips of red morocco with roll-tool decoration, elaborate doublures and turn-ins incorporating onlaid and inlaid panels and strips in red and green, g.e.
