A VIENNA-STYLE CLARET-GROUND TWO-HANDLED OVIFORM VASE AND SQUARE STAND painted on the front with Grazien, the Three Graces dancing attended by Cupid playing the lyre in an idyllic woodland landscape with a distant lake and castle, the reverse with Parzen, the Three Fates in a lush landscape with ruined statuary, each enclosed within a chased gilt cartouche, the sides with horizontal bands and cartouches, and cherubs painted en grisaille, the neck similarly decorated and with two coiled foliage-scroll handles, the stand similarly decorated and painted with gods in chariots within demi-lune shaped cartouches (slight restoration to handles, slight chips and wear to gilding, hairline crack underneath base of vase), blue shield marks, circa 1890
