A MEISSEN DARK-BLUE-GROUND TÊTE-À-TÊTE painted with cherubs among clouds within gilt scroll quatrefoil cartouches, the borders with groups of symmetrical foliage and the rims with interlaced tendrils, comprising a baluster coffee-pot and cover (finial lacking, chips to flange of cover, repairs to neck of pot), a baluster milk-jug, a circular sugar-bowl and cover (finial lacking), two ogee-shaped cups and saucers (one cup and both saucers very damaged, the other cup with rim chips), and a shaped oval tray (repaired), blue crossed swords marks, various Pressnummern and incised marks, circa 1880
