A MEISSEN MAYFLOWER CHOCOLATE-CUP, COVER AND SAUCER with a branch-moulded handle, applied in high relief with canaries perched on meandering stems of pink and yellow roses with green and gilt leaves, the cover with a canary on a gilt loop finial, the ground applied overall with rows of yellow-centred white flowers within gilt line rims (minute chips to petals and to one bird's beak and another's tail-feathers), cancelled blue crossed swords marks, circa 1880
