Leuteritz, the top painted with Musical Company after Caspar Netscher, within a shaped circular cartouche outlined with rococo scrolls, feuilles-de-choux and diaper-pattern, within a dark-blue border and a white rim moulded with white and gilt scrolls and reserved with painted panels of cherubs, on a slender leg moulded with shells, scrolls and strapwork enriched in dark blue and gilding and applied in high relief with birds and flowers, the tripod base similarly decorated and painted with panels of cherubs and scattered insects (minute chips to table, flowers and to top of base, old repair to one foot), the table-top incised B139/33, tip of blue crossed swords mark visible at bottom of leg, circa 1860
