CHURCHILL THANKS A MUNITIONS MANUFACTURER FOR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE WAR EFFORT: Interesting official letter to a Canadian munitions firm supplying artillery shells to the British Army: "...The Chairman now informs me that during this period you have reduced the cost of the production...to 14.16 cents for a delivery of over a million cartridge cases, and that you are making no charge for depreciation, interest on capital or remuneration to the proprietors of the Company.
